Baseball and hoop have been adversely impacted by analytics IMO, but they are here to stay.

If you were watching the Bama-UNC game last night you heard reference to Oats’ program being completely analytically based. This is what he is aiming for and he’s pretty darn close. I heard one of the announcers say nobody has the green light to shoot a mid ranger jumper except one guy (I can’t recall whom).
