DA hit a gw v ucr this year, and then had another late late late game middie that I think Utah or CO spoiled with their own late game heroics.

I don't know why teams SEEK to take a 3 at the end of a game when you're tied. The chances of getting fouled are low. The bball is in the air longer, which reduces the chances for an offensive put back. It just seems like the epitome of "hero" ball to me. Dudes want to be Dame Lillard. "Dame Time", and all that bullshiit. There are no style points in bball. Put pressure on the d, draw a foul, and then count on the refs having integrity and the intellectual honesty to call plays at the end of the game the way they were called throughout the game.
