When it comes to conference champions, the rules are different

The rules say the 5 highest-rated champions get in. "Best team" only applies to at-large bids.

One culprit here is the ACC's rules for who gets into the conference championship game.

Then again, if there were 64 teams in the playoff, #65 would complain.
