I'm curious what do you think the list of priorities should be of a public college?

I think people on this board are desperately thinking that we are still in the 80s or the 90s.

The UCLA administration does not care about FB and probably for good reason. The priorities are probably in the correct order for a university that cares about its academic prestige but that does not coincide with winning.

We used to win because we were in a target-rich recruiting area. We could have sub-par coaches and still do fine. That is not what it takes to win in college FB these days.

We are unwilling to do what it takes to in FB and that's actually a virtue.
