It's really hard to build a strong football culture among your students and alumni without an on campus stadium. What school has done it without an on campus stadium? I guess Miami has done it? I think UCLA is realizing it can no longer be competitive in the way the game is evolving. Look at facilities, USC is building a 400 million football only facility. How can UCLA compete with that?
