I’m unsure of how the buyout worked, but I was under the impression it was 6-8mm, but we are only receiving 1.5mm. This timing disaster is going to be much worse than 1.5mm.
Now we are stuck absolutely stuck. We have a very small pool of people to choose from. Even worse is how does the new guy cobble together a staff??? Do you want to stick him with the current guys? That seems self-defeating. But if we don’t we wind up paying their salaries too. If a new guy comes in where does he get personnel — the portal is closed for a few months.
Very few are sad to see Chip leave, but the timing is awful.
