It's part of the rules for joining NATO as well . . . and part of the reason Ukraine does not yet qualify.

And before you knock Biden, please remember that he's the primary world leader working to make the two-state solution viable again.

Biden has been working the Middle East for 50 years. He knows all the players personally. He knows enough to know Hamas is not Palestinians and Natanyahu is not Israel. The problem is not Israelis and Palestinians but their terrible leadership. I think Biden senses an opportunity now for that leadership to change.

And finally, at noon on January 20th, 2025, one of two men will take the oath of office: Biden or Trump. However much people want to resist that thought, the idea that there is any alternative to that dichotamous choice is PURE FANTASY. People need to start thinking about what a Trump presidency would mean for Palestinians. DJT would probably be just fine with genocide. And decry as antisemitic anyone who opposed it.
