...a thing.

On the 2020 team, Ucla picked up:

Brittain Brown (total dawg, game changer culturally)

Qwantrezz Knight (same thing... he totally loves Ucla)

Caleb Johnson

Paul Grattan

Colson Yankoff

Obi Eboh

Datona Jackson

Then in 2021, Ucla picked up:

Kam brown

Cameron Johnson

Ethan Garbers

Ale Kaho

Jordan Genmark Heath

Zach Charbonnet

Devin Aupiu

Jay Toia

***

So 7 in 2020, and 8 in 2021. Not exactly "turning over the roster" like Peon at CU Later. Basically, almost all of those guys were better than the guys that were on the roster ahead of them, or as good. Almost all of those guys contributed immediately, some bigly.

Then NIL became a thing, and Ucla lost Caleb Johnson and Mitchell Agude (d star of the sc blow out) to Miami and their billionaire NIL benefactor. But Ucla had enough momentum based on chip's reputation to have a great TP class on the 2022 team:

Titus Mokiao-Atimalala

Jake Bobo

Ryan Cragun

Gabriel Murphy

Grayson Murphy

Laiatu Latu

Azizi Hearn

Sean Holland

Jaylin Davies

Darius Muasau

Gary Smith III

Raiqwon O'Neal

Jaylan Jeffers

Liam Douglas

Jacob Sykes

All but Holland, Jeffers and Douglas played a lot, of the 14 new TP guys on the 22 team. Of the 11 that played a lot, 8 were on d, including 5 DL, 1 LB and 2 CBs.

However, the bottom dropped out as NIL turbocharged. Ucla missed on a ton of guys it tripped in for a visit, but still landed...

Jordan Anderson

J.Michael Sturdivant

Femi Oladejo

Collin Schlee

Kyle Ford

Anthony Adkins

Zeke Thomas (jc)

Carson Steele

Jake Heimlicher

Khadere Kounta

Caleb Walker (jc)

Jake Wiley

Moliki Matavao

Michael Sullivan

Keanu Williams

That's 15 guys,
