Oops, finishing up...
Ucla landed 15 TP guys for the 2023 season. A bumper crop of guys entered the portal. Ucla got 6 guys that were "starters". The other guys played a little and some guys didn't play at all.
I would say that the best players from 2020 on have mostly been TP players. The OL guys that cans to Ucla from hs have had the best success. (Rhyan, Mafi, Gaines, Alec Anderson, Garrett DiGiorgio, Duke Clemens, Bruno Fina, Josh Carlin)
Next position group would be the safeties. (Lake, Blaylock, Osling, churchwell)
Then the titans. (Dulcich, ezeike, Habermehl, Carsen Ryan, Mike Martinez)
Then the WRs. (Phillips, Cota, loya, with Braden Pegan and grant gray in the wings)
