UCLA leads 2-1 heading into the bottom of the 2nd (Bruins coming up for their second at bats)
Faraimo, however, once again is starting slowly. She has given up three hits, one a solo HR that was really pounded, and walked one batter - struck out two.
She is going for her 30th win of the season tonight so keep this in perspective, but she's looked a bit more vulnerable to me of late - even as teammate and fellow all-conference pitcher Yanez has been looking stronger. I'm hoping Faraimo isn't leveling off a bit late in the season. She certainly was strong late in her last start on Thursday night so hopefully this is just more of the slowish starts for her and won't mean anything.
