after the double to tie the game up for Utah, Faraimo walked a batter - nothing even close - and then, with a two strike count on the next batter she hit her on the elbow to load the bases. Next batter did one of those plays where she ran up on the pitch and just punched it barely over the infielders to score the go-ahead run for Utah. With the bases still loaded (and two outs), Yanez has replaced Faraimo on the mound. She has a 1-2 count on the batter who is fouling off pitch after pitch. Big moment in the ball game. Easy grounder to second to end the half of the inning.
Bruins are coming up now in the bottom of the fourth. Ramirez, Meono and then Godin in the lead off spot due up for UCLA.
A fact: UCLA enters this game having won 25 Pac-12 games in a row, going for 26 and the first-ever Pac-12 tournament title.
Let's see if the Bruins can rally and win this one also - three more chances at bat (at least) to get it done
