They finally pitched to Brady and she singled up the middle. Bruins loaded the bases for Jordan - hitting .311 on the season with a two run HR tonight in the first inning. But she flied out to deep left to leave three.
Utah takes a three run lead into the seventh inning.
John Wooden used to say you can learn as much from a narrow win as you can from a loss, but it sure seemed like a loss after a long winning streak relieved the pressure and allowed JRW's teams to play more loosely - relieved the pressure. Not sure it will work that way for this team - two big differences - we aren't the all-winning best team in the country with all the pressure having built up on us - this team seems very loose anyway - and Oklahoma is out there as the consensus best team. But one can always hope
Bottom of the 7th coming up and we went through the top of our batting order last inning, loading the bases and stranding them all thee. Due up are Pola, Vines and Cid to be followed by Ramirez (wonder if they won't hit for her if she comes up) and Meono before we get back to Grant, Brady and the top of the order again
Note this opposing HC is NOT pulling her starting pitcher seemingly out of the blue
