Oregon going for two on their 1st TD caused them to have to go for 2 again at the end of the game. If he had just been conservative and kicked the extra point on the first TD they could have tied the game with an extra point and send it to overtime easier.
Also if UCLA been more conservative and just took the field goals rather than going for it on 4th downs their margin would have been out of reach for Oregon anyway. I feel like we left at least 9 points off the scoreboard because we were playing too aggressive.
Always take the easy points in a game that is still undecided. I never thought these two teams would have such a low scoring game. But seeing how it was going that way we should have played for the easy 3 pointers more often.
