The not declining the offside has to be clearly a poor decision. It certainly was a game of questionable decisions on both sides. I do think Chesney did have "underdog brain" in this game. It would have been better to just trust his guys, rather than assume super-heroic stuff was needed to beat Oregon at Oregon. I think that's why he avoided the field goals.
