I am not a Padres fan.

But I just can't stand to see bad Managing.

Jackson Merill has been batting over .300 since day 1 and has 4 stolen bases. Yet he continues to bat in the 7th spot.

Bogaerts is batting .219 with 2 Stolen bases and continues to bat in the leadoff spot.

Why not at least give Merrill a shot at the leadoff spot and move Bogaerts down to 5th until he finds his groove?

Maybe Merrill is even better in the leadoff spot. Maybe he is worse. Who Knows? But I highly doubt he does worse than Bogaerts right now.

Now you can sit here and say the Manager knows what is best for the team. And I say yeah whatever.
