Well all I got to say is the Reds Manager does things different.

Elly de la Cruz started up in the lineup and it wasn't working out to well. He moved him to 6th until he found his groove and now is batting 2nd.

There are no guarantees that Bogaerts will ever find his grove this year. We saw Correa fall down the rabbit hole. I can give you a few other names that just lost it. A slump can last an entire year or forever.

As a Manager you will never know what you have unless you try. The Padres Manager may eventually do it if Bogaerts continues to struggle and then go, Dang I should have done that 50 games ago.

I don't buy the pressure story and that it will ruin his career. These guys are dying for the opportunity.
