It looks like there are only 2 potential landing spots for Chip now: (1) Seahawks OC or (2) ohio state oc. It’s being reported BC will make a decision today (ands it’s highly likely to be BOB. Seattle is likely to name their guy today or shortly after the Super Bowl (they won’t step on the biggest day of sports in the US).

It’s pretty obvious he’d take either if offered. IMO the Ohio State job is a much better position if he’s looking to rehab himself. It’s really hard to fail as tOSU’s OC. Ohio state is more talented than everyone they play until the CFP. I guess the one concern is that Mike Vrabel is unemployed and if Day stumbles this year; the decision to name Vrabel as HC is a no-brainer if Vrabel is interested.

The NFC west is not easy. Gotta deal with the Niners and Rams and that’s not easy. Questionable at QB with Geno Smith, but loaded at skill positions.

I think Chip will take any job offered. I’m betting he’s the next OC at ohio state. Hmmm, I just rethought and think Hartline will get that job not Chip.

So…..chip stays. I can’t imagine Seattle being that desperate. There have to be superior NFL candidates than him.

I’d hedge my bet and place a little action on an Interim tag and pray we don’t see a Lavin redux.
