Bama has been able to dominate recruiting, but I bet a lot of people dont know this: Bama doesnt need to pay its players the same amount as UGa or Ohio State or Texas. They dont have the same resources as other programs. It's called the Saban discount. A lot of top recruits go to Bama bc of Saban. They knew he put them in the best position to make a career in the NFL. That's gone. If you listen to everyone who is portaling out, its all bc of Saban and that came to Bama to play for Saban.
We live in a completely transactional world today.
