He's apparently the DH of choice in road AL games for the Dodgers. And, he's hitting something like .375 for the year. But, he's also hitting .375 for his career, as all ESPN seems to show is a 31 year old dude who is now getting his first at bats. And, he's got a whole eight-of-'em now.
Odd that a team like the Dodgers would put an unproven old guy into that slot, IMO.
Meanwhile, to circle back to Pierre, he's hitting all of .256 in June, with a .291 on base average and only 9 runs out of that leadoff slot. All the more reason to perhaps trade him while he's got the impressive season stats.
