... we're all judging Pierre based upon a 1.5 month period where he was on fire, after a mediocre last year, in claiming that he's the equivalent to Manny, which is equally unfair, and if anything, the last month is more on par with what Pierre has contributed lately in his career.
I have no issues whatsoever with Pierre's attitude nor work ethic (in fact, they are superb, and I agree that it's nice to see him get some props. But, we may not get as much from him as we might with a trade - depends on what they get, though, of course.
Tracy is a motivator, no doubt. Not sure he can stand up to the long haul, though, as baseball is not a sport that can be won on emotion over the season. (There's no crying in baseball :-)
I loved The Rookie - great flick.
