Don't forget there is Long Beach St and U C Irvine in there non conference. The Bruins can't afford to throw some seldom used pitcher against Cal State Bakersfield tomorrow night. The Roadrunners have beaten Fresno St 3 times this season as well as Santa Barbara, and U C Riverside.
I guess it is possible for UCLA to finish second or third in the Pac 10 and be below .500 for the season since Fullerton, Irvine, LBSU as well as CSU Bakersfield are still non conference. Has a team ever been below .500 and invided to play in the post-season?
