A split with Cal/ASU in the last six league games is certainly a realistic possibility. The non league games include 3 with Fullerton and games with UC Irvine, LBSU and CSUB.

The Bruins need to get 2 out of 3 with Cal and at least 1 at ASU.

The games with Fullerton, LBSU, and Irvine are up in the air. I can't fathom a Cal State Bakersfield win unless the Bruins put a seldom used pitcher on the mound for experience. It's understandable that the Bruins would come out uninspired tonight after a tough weekend in Oregon. This is a marquee game for CSUB so they will undoubtedly throw their ace. They have some good young arms that are freshman but improving rapidly. This is the first time in history that a first year program has defeated the DIV I National Champions (Fresno St)...

UCLA has played as well as anyone in the country the past month.
