Just proves the point. Bled dry? Come on. Did anyone seriously lose money? The Dodgers average something like 49k per game. That's 5 nights a week every other week. That's most people driving an hour each way to a game. A top 10 Ucla can't get 35k for a game. Ucla football doesn't charge more than anybody else in the major conferences. I paid $84/seat for 20 yard line, 15th row. That is nothing by todays prices.

This is just people don't want to step up to attend a great product and value. It's that simpke.

Even for sake of argument if Ucla built the magical on campus stadium, that is minimum 2-3 years to finish, realistically 3-5 years when you factor design, engineering, budgeting, and construction. You still have to get fans to show up in the meantime to keep the program desirable to recruits and to keep the staff.
