As much as the Rose Bowl offers many positives, I believe moving to So Fi will be more beneficial in the long run.
Starting a new era with a new coach will leave the bad taste alumni and fans have had to endure during the 21st Century.
More over, IMO, it would open up recruiting.
If you're a high school recruit and your recruiter tells you that you'll be playing in an NFL stadium with all the modern technology and with a roof over your head to eliminate extreme weather, you might say to yourself, "That's what I'm talking about."
The Rose Bowl doesn't hold the same image it once was
Those hot days, the parking, and the uncomfortable and empty seats that look terrible on TV.
Young people love shiny new things So Fi shines. Unfortunately, the Rose Bowl has lost it's luster. Time to move up and away.
