I agree with everything you said; but it doesn’t make sense. Chip could make 6.2mm at ucla in 2024. He won’t make that during his entire contract at tOSU. Also if we fired him in 2024 we’d owe him over 4mm more. So almost 11mm in 1 year or 6.5mm for 3 years. If we didn’t fire him another 6.3mm.
I agree he’s never gonna be a HC again. So wouldn’t he rather get as much $$ as possible for retirement.
