The high priced extension couldn't have been made at a worse time, just when the Bruin fan-base, in general, was about to get fed up with Cronin. I don't think that had quite happened last season, but with the loss of Mara, for which I think most of us blame Mick, mainly, and then this season's desultory performance, I think the writing should have been on the wall for CMC. Unfortunately for the program, I think. it won't be.
