At this point, I'm not sure which would displease UCLA fans more, missing the tourney altogether or losing again in the first round.
Either way, this season has been Cronin's failure. He put a roster together with pieces that don't fit, and with not enough frontcourt depth. And he's failed to develop his team over the season.
