…. but his overall decision making right now. It’s hard to know the reason but he could also still be playing through injury - we saw similar in Ball’s last game with UCLA in the tourney his freshman year - clearly he was injured but that was never confirmed.
I am optimistic that he rights that ship.
No, I don’t believe the floater is always a bad shot. Early on, he was hitting it with regularity. And while there may be a degredation in overall shooting% with it, I’m guessing it’s not by much. And it also makes sense to me that - as opposed to a pull up jumper - a floater gives the defense less time to prepare for the rebound, perhaps increasing the potential for a put-back.
I’m not ready to overreact. I think this year’s team has a lot of potential.
