for a national championship in 21. In the 22/23 season, the Bruins were never ranked lower than 14th on kenpom.com and were in the top-4 the last 3 months of the season, so they were definitely competing for a national championship until Clark and Bona got hurt.

Only 3 current B1G coaches have won a B1G championship in the last 10 years, and who knows how long Izzo is going to keep coaching, so Cronin and UCLA vault right to the top of the list of contenders.
