That might be somewhat of an influence on the numbers, but subjective observations of officiating are unreliable. I realize you watch a lot of games, but they are still a small percentage of ALL the games played in a conference. They are subjected to weighting some plays more heavily due to confirmation and rooting bias and their influence on the game.
I repeat, every game is different. One cannot generalize about officiating.
