are indeed heavily involved in this. Speaker Johnson explicitly said it was a Christian obligation to support the state of Israel in the current conflict. I am traveling right now, but later I will post links to Republicans in Congress explicitly calling for supporting Israel because what is what their Christian faith mandates.

So yes, Christians are in the throes of the conflict. You are not. People in my progressive congregation are not. But they are appalled as anyone is at the Christians who actively support the far right Israeli regime. These aren't nameless Internet trolls. They are prominent politicians and religious leaders who influence US policy. Yes, it is a big CHRISTIAN problem. It's also a big American problem.
