Notice the use of the word "model", which is like the M in LLM. This thing is likely an early model of a reasoning type of M, perhaps intended for a specific task (the way, for instance, LLMs are designed for a specific task, which is to duplicate natural language).
It's not an LLM that's going take over the world and decide humans are an infestation on nature. Reasoning based Ms though? That's the kind that worries me. I guess two years into LLMs, we've now started to open a door we were not ready for.
