A couple of things that I loved. We actually ran a reverse that the other team didn't suss out. We got 20 yards on a reverse. When was the last time that happened?
And, we got good yardage off the quick lateral passes to the sideline. We always suck at that. A lot of years it's been because our QB did not have a natural touch on those. The ball would be inaccurate, or lobbed. Nico through those really well.
Speaking of speed - Brian Rowe Jr. looked great on that reverse. I'd like to see us get him the ball some. He did have one drop, so in a classic overreaction to one play, maybe he could incorporate some Demetric Felton stuff, hand the ball to him some, a bubble screen here and there? Like I said, classic overreaction, but he looked good!
