was tops; could see the Golden Gate from Strawberry Canyon at 8 in the morning. The stadium was packed and electric.
Cal's defense got gassed in the 4th quarter. I was impressed with UCLA's OL and the run game. Missed the targeting call. A Cal fan told me it was brutal and was worried for the UCLA player. Most importantly, the Bruins were ready from the GET-GO, no going through the motions until half-time or whatever. Thank you CBC!
Cal put a lot into this game and afterwards, the faithful were disappointed. Lots of Bruin Blue and Gold in the stands and around town. I'm sure that impressed CBC. Well done Bruin fans!
We need to make this an annual game, not just the next 3. It's UCLA vs Cal and everything in between. Hopefully they can schedule one when class starts to UCLA's students can roadie up.
CBC's hiring is one of the best things to happen to UCLA ever. Still lots of work to do but I'm confident the team will give its all and will be prepared every time it hits the field.
