Truth be told I have no idea what the point of your post was, but how does being so cheap help build anything?
We are paying our entire football staff less than what we paid Chip last year (and budgeting for this year). How does that help UCLA? How does the “message” that UCLA pays the least for football coaching than ANY Big 10 school. Yes, less than Purdue, Indiana, Illinois, Rutgers, etc. Being cheap is usually not the way to message — watch out we are a coming.
Any $$ saved re coaching does NOT go to NIL. As of now, schools can’t pay NIL.
With all the new hires (OC, WR, QB) where does Jerry Neuheisel fit here? Is he getting demoted to TE?
