and did nothing to prevent it. All official reports say Bieniemy was never questioned. And I can also guarantee that Bieniemy, who has rarely if ever commented on any of his run ins with the law, never publicly said anything regarding the sexual assault episodes at Colorado.
Outside the rape allegation, which I'll address below, Bieiemy's rap sheet consists of a bar fight when someone used the "N" word, 6 traffic tickets, interfering with a firefighter performing their duty, and allegedly touching a female parking attendant's butt.
The last one could have been pretty serious, but nothing seems to have come from it. The other issues don't seem very significant to me. Maybe there's a pattern there, maybe not. Many of the traffic tickets would seem absurd, if we didn't know DWB is a real thing.
As for the rape allegation while Bieniemy was RB coach at Colorado, Bieniemy was not named in any criminal charges, nor was he ever deposed in the Title IX lawsuit that resulted in a $2.8M settlement. It would be gross malpractice for Beiniemy not to be deposed if "he admitted he was aware of but did nothing to prevent" a rape or even sexual assault. Indeed the court's ruling was the university failed to properly supervise the players and their hosts, indicating Bieniemy couldn't have been aware of what happened because he wasn't there.
As for your WAF friend, and his friend at OSU, all of this has been well know and publicly reported for over 20 years. I doubt OSU decided to "remove him from the candidate list" because someone all of a sudden learned how to use Google.
I'm not saying Bieniemy is the best candidate for UCLA, but all this stuff about his "rap sheet" is pure BS.
