i'm reacting mostly a bit differently. If this turns out to be true (have seen no confirmation but it appeared headed that way for awhile now so seems likely to me). i think he'd be fully engaged and he's always been a super high energy guy anyway. i think he'll do fine as a recruiter and dealing with 16 year olds won't be a problem - and his NFL badges will be a recruiting benefit especially with the higher rated recruits we really do need to start bringing in to do okay in the new conference.

My questions are more in line with what you mentioned in terms of his being our OC. How much was Eric and how much was Andy Reid in KC? I'm inclined to think it was mostly Reid - a hall of fame coach running his system with his QB in Mahomes. As our new HC has never put together and managed a program and a staff including game plans for all concerned, etc., i'm wondering how all that will shake out and how valuable Eric will be in that regard. Of course, the other candidate whose name intrigued me was Bill Rees and similar questions could be raised about his play calling and design experience as well. And i don't know his energy level, either.

for me, what i'd most like is a HC with at least coordinator experience. But our HC is Coach Foster and if Bieniemy is his choice, then so be it and good for him. It's his program now and all we can do is support and hope for the best and we'll see how it all plays out

Go Bruins!
