Ucla is just plain stupid. #1 public university? WAFJ. They can't manage their way out of wet paper bag.
I can't prove it, but I suspect the end came when Ucla let Lynn walk. Chip probably couldn't get the money to compete because Jarmond has created a massive deficit and couldn't see himself clear of another million. Chip needs a strong DC and he was trying to keep one here. Jarmond probably nixed it. Chip started looking.
Ucla incompetence is the root cause here, folks.
