Talk about implausible. You think Jarmond had this lined up for months? Why would Foster go to the Raiders if this was in the works?
You think he spent months and came to the conclusion that of an entire universe a RB coach was the right hire? If so why didnt that make him the OC instead of bringing in the new guy?
Players usually rally around the current guy. You dont let the inmates rule the asylum. You hire the right HC and things fall in place.
Maybe Carroll is a retread, but hes won a natty and a SB. Foster doesnt even have tread...he's never been in a leadership position. I doubt we had an assistant RB coach.
PS, I have yet to hear anyone say that Foster is the guy you describe. Go read Gregg Biggins. He does NOT have fire, he is not a dogged recreuiter. \
