1) Jarmond is utterly incompetent
2) This is basically an interim deal unless he shows signs (the contract will say a lot)
3) UCLA is sending a clear message: we don't even pretend to care anymore about FB in the era of NIL, Big 10, etc. We just want to run a program that doesn't embarrass the school, tout our academics, and collect our Big 10 paycheck. Don't need fans.
#1 is the most likely, followed closely by #3.
#2 seems kind of cruel unless they've discussed it with Foster. Setting a Bruin up to get mauled.
