Our lack of roster continuity is going to be a problem next season. As has been said countless times here, Cronin's system requires multiple years to learn and implement. This is why his best team was the one from a few years back that was loaded with experienced upperclassmen. And it's also why last year's team was awful. Cronin is not a coach who can quickly develop a mostly new roster and make them a contender by March. It just hasn't happened this way with him, going back to his Cincinnati days.
So while it's nice to have so many guys transferring in, I wouldn't get too hopeful for doing anything noteworthy in 2024-25. He needs to keep the core of his roster for at least two seasons. Ideally, three.
