Top of the inning got pretty scary. Walks put two Trojans on base with two outs. New reliever came in and promptly bonks the ball off the batter's elbow (ouch!) to load the bases. Next batter worked it to a 3-2 count before we got him out.
Bottom of the inning, Espinosa reached on a bunt single. Call, up to sacrifice, got a high pitch and tried to bunt it anyway resulting in a pop out to the catcher in front of home plate. The Dean West belted one over the right field wall for a two run HR.
After 7, UCLA 4, SC 3. Ice water in their veins. Now come on pitching and defense!
