A single standing for the NL would look like this as of right now:

Team W L GBL
LAD 46 24 ---
S-L 39 32 7-1/2
Phl 36 31 8-1/2
Mil 37 32 8-1/2
S-F 37 32 8-1/2
Col 37 33 9
ChC 34 32 10
NYM 35 33 10
Cin 34 34 11
Fla 35 36 11-1/2
Atl 33 36 12-1/2
Hou 32 35 12-1/2
Pit 31 38 14-1/2
S-D 30 38 15
Ari 29 41 17
Was 20 47 24-1/2

There are 11 teams bunched within 5 games of each other from second through twelfth. And fourtheenth place San Diego is as close to second place St. Louis as the latter is to first place Los Angeles.

The Manny-less Dodgers, at 25-16, would be one game ahead of St. Louis, despite having the disadvantage of having played 30 less games.

This shows just how incredibly better the Dodgers are playing than anyone else in the NL.

P.S. As far as the "suspect pitching" of the Dodgers goes, how many other teams have SIX starters with ERA under 4? (When the Weavers went against each other, everyone was concentrated on the brother vs. brother aspect. They forget that the Dodgers' #6 maybe #7 spot starter beat the Angels' ace.) And the three relievers with the most innings with ERA under 3?
