.....the same could have been said of the 2003 Florida Marlins and, if I remember correctly, the 2005 Chicago White Sox as well.

In 1997, the two best pitchers on the World Series participants (Cleveland and Florida) were two rookies: Jaret Wright and Livan Hernandez.

The fact they are hot now doesn't mean they'll be that way in October and therein lies my concern.

However, the fact they are young and still will be in October doesn't mean they won't come through in the clutch and therein lies my hope!

The future for the Dodgers certainly does look bright as the core of the team is very young and won quite consistently without Manny Ramirez.

I would still prefer to see them pick up an arm via trade if one is readily available.
