Not sure what Garland's contract looks like, but if Haren and Webb are healthy coming into next year, that still gives you the foundation for the best starting staff in the NL.
And, I expect that this year will help the team make some decisions that might bode well for 2010, like understanding who are bright young players (ala Reynolds) and who are just not going to turn the corner (Young?) You'd know better than I.
Finally, it's clear that they need to bolster an awful bullpen.
