relating to the strength of the division. They are BAD. They don't play well outside their division. They don't play well inside their division. They stink on the road and they get booed out of Chase Field. They beat the Oakland A's. And the Nationals. And that's IT.
This takes nothing away from the Dodgers IMO, who I don't think has overwhelming talent, but they have the character and toughness to find ways to win games. They are GOOD.
