I get nervous every time I see Kuo get the ball.

I can't put my finger on it, but there just seems to be something missing in his game. I don't know if his problems are mental, (which I suspect), or physical. (Possibly both?)

But I am skeptical about his ever being that lock-down set-up guy that we need in order to compete at the highest level. Jason Schmidt? What a disastrous signing he has turned out to be. Ned Coletti has certainly had some colossal whiffs as GM.

IMHO, his best moves have been holding onto the young talent and refusing to trade them. Loney, Kemp, Ethier etc. could have been traded numerous times but he refused to pull the trigger. I applauded him at the time and he is being proven right as these guys develop.

The Dodgers were always their best when they relied primarily on home-grown talent. I hope they've learned to stay that course and not rely on the big free-agent splash every time.
