We don't know yet but reports are saying the manifesto had a list of Democrats he was going to shoot, Walz was on the list but had the most security so he started with those that wouldn't have security. Also on the list he indicated he was going to target the NO Kings events and so were others. So that's apparently why Minnesota is telling people not to go.
The pics of the fake police SUV I would have believed it to be a real one.
There's some reports that the shooter was wearing a mask but I haven't seen confirmation of that
