"makes sure they can't remain secrets for long. Someone, somewhere will start bragging about it."

That's what windows, pollonium, and Colt Cobra revolvers (the weapon that killed Oswald) are for.

Do you think Mr. T has been upfront about all the things that went into creating the insanity that happened on Jan 6? Or that Erdugan is transparent about how he maintains power? Or corporations have never succeeded in price fixing? Or, if you go looking for a longshoreman job in San Pedro you won't have better success if you're of certain ethnicities and particularly if you're from the right families?

When I was trying to be a teacher, the secretary at a school I liked worked it so that all 3 of my master teachers were at that school. I was amazed at this unlikely event. Her response "you work the system, or the system works you." Background, she was of a historically oppressed minority and I bet her community had quite a history of getting worked.

Conspiracies happen all the time. They succeed all the time.

Hell, I coached AYSO. One season I drew a group of the most inexperienced, uncoordinated kids you ever did see. At the end of the season I was returning stuff to the divisional director. I walked into her garage, her first words were "I'm soooo sorry" She went on to say that before the season started, the regional director had pulled the two best players from my team and put them in his girlfriend's daughter's team. That's a conspiracy that succeeded. It's the teeny tiniest most inconsequential conspiracy ever. But, I vehemently disagree with the blanket statement "they can't succeed." They succeed every day, everywhere.
