Some I agree with but mine would be;
Poor media deals and the rise of cable and ESPN. This impacted the entire Pac-10. (Agree)
* Poor AD's. We have had a string of horrible ADs starting with Dali's. (Agree)
* Focus on academics. I think after Young left, the importance of sports was deemphasized and there was a push to make us like Harvard.(Maybe somewhat true but UCLA has always stressed academics)
* Moving to Pasadena. Think this hurt us in the community recruitingwise. (I disagree. Pasadena and the Rose Bowl Legacy group have pumped 100's of millions of $'s into the stadium to make it so much better. Sure, they can do more like get rid of the uncomfortable seats, but at least they're trying to make improvements. So much better than that dump in LA!)
* Lack of student support
* High ticket and parking costs
* Lack of any UCLA Football marketing in the SGValley. There used to be banners, billboards, etc, and now nothing. There's more usc billboards in the SGValley than UCLA stuff!
